Classifying Quadrilaterals
After defining quadrilateral as a polygon with four sides, this presentation groups them according to sets of parallel sides. Parallelograms (quadrilaterals with 2 sets of parallelogram sides) include rectangles, rhombuses, and squares (rhombuses with right angles). Trapezoids are quadrilaterals with 1 set of parallel sides. A trapezium has no parallel sides.
